TEAM Dynamics headed off for Hungary this week in preparation for rounds 11 and 12 of the FIA European Touring Car Championship.
The Pershore-based team's driver, Matt Neal, is delighted to be back in his 2000 Nissan Primera after the disappointment of losing his place in the BTCC Peugeot team.
"This is a serious championship with serious drivers," Neal said. "The car has proved really competitive even though our knowledge of the Euro arena is still a learning curve.
"As for the competition, it's no walkover but I am really looking forward to the trip to Hungary."
With a refurbished engine now up to full specification and teething problems sorted out, Neal will be going all out to bring home two winners trophies from Eastern Europe.
Last season's BTCC Independent's champion has already stamped his authority on the European equivalent after two podium and other top five finishes.
Storming off the grid in his usual style, Neal finished second at Zolder last time out alongside the world's best in Touring Car Racing.
After his Hungarian adventure, Harbury-based Neal will slot in three races in Australia in the world-renowned Australian V8 Supercar series.
Neal will make a return to the European tracks on August 26 in Austria before completing his debut season with trips to Germany, Spain and Portugal.
