THE sun shone on Ink-berrow's 16th annual Fun Run when a record turnout saw Bernie Jones, a four-times previous winner - lead the 157 six-milers to the finish in just 31 minutes and 42 seconds.
Dave Kesterton ran a courageous race to come in second with Alister McNay third.
Three-times winner Nicola Aitken of Windsor and Eton ran a fine race in 37.04 with Jeanette Malin taking third.
There were 87 runners for the three-miler and 19-year-old Richard Wood of Red-ditch came first in 17.13, just ahead of Inkberrow's James Cant (12).
£1120 was raised for MacMillan Cancer Relief.
