PERSHORE have secured a place in the first round of the Travelsphere Top Club Championship, with a 3-1 home victory over Barbourne, after taking all but the singles in the preliminary round.
Wilma Day and Eileen Attwood had a comfortable 34-8 victory in the pairs, while Kath Heywood skipped the triples team to a convincing 20-12 win. Sheila Turnbull, Alice Hutchings, Angela Taylor and Ann Vint had a 19-15 victory in the fours.
Barbourne rallied hard in the singles for a convincing 21-12 victory.
