A PROPERTY consulting company is advising Malvern residents to look closely at any conversion plans now - while a review of the Local Plan is under way.
Malvern Hills District Council is inviting submissions on the Local Plan up until July 16, 2001.
Property consultants Carver Knowles, based at Strensham Business Park, near Worcester, say they will be happy to visit properties to assess ideas for future development, and discuss "how they could be promoted in the next local plan".
Conversion
"It is important to be aware that converting traditional barns to residential dwellings is becoming increasingly difficult and will be even more so when this new plan is in place," said Carver Knowles consultant, Andrew Troughton.
"Therefore, any residential conversion ideas you have should be dealt with immediately."
Mr Troughton added that in-fill plots, either in villages, courtyard developments or farmyards, may also be suitable for residential development, as well as larger areas.
