AFTER an absence from the Malvern area of around 50 years, I recently have been lucky enough to have an extended break in the area.
Although I see many changes, the general ambience still remains - that of a spa town built around the hills giving it an atmosphere of the seaside.
I seem to remember that situated near to the British Camp Hotel was an outdoor swimming pool, where as a child we would walk to on hot summer afternoons probably around 1936. Today there seems no sign of such a place. Maybe your readers would confirm this.
