FIRST past the post in the fashion stakes will take top prize at Worcester Racecourse's Ladies Day tomorrow.
The annual event, which should attract a bumper crowd, will see the best dressed women awarded with prizes ranging from beauty treatments to clothing.
It is the fourth meeting of what is becoming a highly successful season at Pitchcroft despite the poor start due to bad weather.
Operations manager Katherine Self said: "We had a bad start with the weather but, in the past three weeks, it has been fantastic on the race days which helps to attract people for a day out. Crowds are already up 10 per cent on last year and we are hoping the Ladies Day pull will continue that trend.
"It is a great day where there is the perfect excuse for ladies to get dressed up with prizes on offer for the best outfits."
Seven races have been pencilled in, the first at 2.15pm.
