ANDY Croft won the toss for the Ramblers and decided to bat first in this Worcestershire Sunday Club Cricket League match.
MALVERN RAMBLERS SUNDAY 2ND XI v FECKENHAM
Ramblers got off to the worst possible start when R Cullen was caught and bowled for 0 and at 28-3 after 10 overs it did not look too promising.
S Walker came to the crease and after a slow start made a long and sensible innings finally being stumped for 67 and a late flurry of runs, A Bywater 21 and A Herbert 23. Ramblers reached a reasonable total of 181-8 off their 45 overs.
Feckenham's opening batsman got off to a slow start due to some good tight bowling from J Dovey and A Herbert. Dovey bowled opener Daniels for nine and then two overs later he bowled Fletcher for seven, ending with fine figures, 9-3-2-12.
Perry scored a fine 63 for Feckenham but was finally bowled by Bywater to take the first of his four wickets. With some fine fielding and two good run outs, Feckenham were all out for 160 with two overs to go. Ramblers winning by 21 runs.
On Sunday, Ramblers 2nd XI are away at Overbury for a friendly. Players will be notified.
