CAN I say how disappointed I was to read Worcester has not made the top 30 cities in Britain.
Being born and raised in Worcester, I am delighted at the way Worcester is progressing and look forward to the time when local government solve the scourge of lorries and cars that still travel near or around the city centre, most notably by Worcester Cathedral.
On a positive note, I was delighted to see Worcester offers a free internet service at Worcester Library, located in Trinity Street.
In Lanzarote, where I work as a secondary school teacher, this same service would cost the equivalent of £4 an hour.
The people of Worcester should be made aware of this wonderful service and congratulations to the county council for financing it.
DAVID ANDREWS,
Bevere,
Worcester.
