FIVE members of Worcester Stirling Triathlon Club are preparing to represent Great Britain.
Three club members are off to Edmonton, Canada at the end of this month for the World Triathlon Championships, consisting of a 1500m swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.
Johnny Stevens will compete in the men's 20-25 years age group while Ros Townsend-Hope and Gail Flanagan are battling for honours in the women's 45-49 years section.
The club also has two representatives in this weekend's European Duathlon Championships in Mafra, Portugal.
Les Bailey competes in the 60-64 years section while Jonathan Stedman is part of the junior British team.
The event consists of a 10km run, 40km cycle and another 5km run.
