FIXTURES and fittings will be on the agenda at Studley Village Hall this Saturday as plans to launch a second lottery application for up to £30,000 are put in to action.
The move comes after the village hall committee was victorious in gaining a £404,000 lottery grant to rebuild the venue which has been match funded by Stratford Council.
The project will begin early next year but this Saturday, from 10.30am, hall users and potential users are invited to discuss how they would like the new building to be fitted out. Another meeting will be held on July 12.
Village hall committee member Hazel Wright said: "It is for people to contribute on how the village hall could meet their needs. For instance the camera club might want a screen and the WI might want a certain type of chair for their elderly members."
Mrs Wright said the lottery board had asked the village hall committee to apply again for fixtures and fittings.
The new hall will include a state-of-the-art stage and sound system, a police and parish council base, and far more space than the current High Street building.
She said: " The second application will be for between £20,000 and £30,000."
