REDDITCH town centre will become blooming marvellous over the next few months following the launch of a hanging basket competition.
A number of businesses and organisations will be putting flower baskets outside their premises in Alcester Street and Church Green as part of a competition.
The competition, which will see winners scooping prizes such as Palace Theatre tickets as well as vouchers, will be judged on Monday, July 16.
The winners of the contest, which has been organised by Redditch Town Centre Partnership, will be presented with certificates and prizes by Redditch Mayor Dot Dudley outside the Litten Tree pub at noon.
Town centre manager Jane Muckle said: "It's good to see so many local businesses taking part in the hanging basket competition and helping to make the town centre a more attractive place."
