CUTNALL Green First XI beat Kidderminster Thirds by seven wickets in Worcestershire County League Division Five on Saturday.
Kidderminster batted first and steadily lost wickets on a difficult batting track.
They managed to hang on until the 43rd over, when they were finally bowled all out for 127 runs.
P Taylor took five for 28 off 16 overs and M Harris recorded four for 45 off 18.4 overs.
In reply, Cutnall Green also had problems getting started and were 17 for three off five overs.
However, the undaunted partnership of Scott Shuck (67 not out) and Allan Morgan (37 not out) gave victory to the Green, as they scored 130 off 28.3 overs.
l On Sunday, Cutnall Green lost to Abberley by four wickets in a 40-over match.
Having won the toss, Cutnall Green batted first. They progressed steadily through their innings and reached 171 for nine, during which L Poultney scored 45 not out.
N Massey took three for 26 off eight overs.
In reply, Abberley got off to a good start with middle order batsmen N Massey (67) and R Cooke (41) putting on a solid display.
They soon reached the required target off 38 overs.
