STUDLEY shocked league leaders Kings Heath with a winning draw on Saturday, knocking them off their Birmingham Two East perch in the process.
Mark Lewis' troops belied their lowly league position with a performance described by their captain as 'back to the Studley of old'.
And Lewis, whose team have been putting in hard work in the nets, revealed the secret was all in the coin toss.
"I'm hoping we can lose the toss again on Saturday," he said.
"Every time I've won the toss this season we've lost and every time I've lost and we've been put in we've had a good result."
Saturday's giantkilling did little to improve the Washford Fields side's position but brought mid-table within sight at the halfway stage.
"The only thing we can look at is still avoiding the drop," said Lewis. "It would be unrealistic if we got carried away.
"We still have to look at the job in hand. Until we've got another two or three wins under our belt we can't really assess our position.
"That was possibly our trouble from the word go, when we said we were promotion candidates and thought we could just turn out and beat sides."
After two winning draws a win and a losing draw, Studley are out to keep their unbeaten record intact against visiting Water Orton on Saturday (1pm start).
Skipper Lewis is unavailable for the trip to north Warwickshire and will be replaced as captain by Richard Gregory in the only change from Saturday's lineup.
