BACK-to-back wins have finally lifted Wythall away from the foot of the Warwickshire Four Central league table.
But they face a tough test if they are to continue their winning ways on Saturday - league leaders Handsworth provide the opposition at Silver Street.
Club spokesman Matthew Elwell said an unchanged side could be the key to this weekend's clash.
"We have fielded the same side for the last two weeks and that speaks volumes," he said.
"We can go into the match filled with confidence because these two wins have lifted us into a mid-table position."
Abib's 6-50 and some splendid fielding from Jeff Hussey, including a marvellous run out, had Aston Eds OE all out for 149.
Keith Wilson (37) steered his side towards their target before Martin Priest (44) hit the winning runs as Wythall made 151-8 to win by two wickets.
Elwell added: "Handsworth have a couple of good bowlers but we have a fabulous batting track at Wythall at the moment and a number of batsman are showing some fine form."
