A BROMSGROVE Advertiser/Messenger District Football League team are appealing for a new sponsor for the 2001/2 season.
Waseley United (formerly Sight & Sound SSC FC) have been playing in the league for the past four years and are made up from players from Rubery and Rednal.
The team, who play home games at the Holywell Lane complex in Rubery, need sponsorship to help them with the expenses involved in running the side, such as footballs, registration fees and pitch maintenance.
Club secretary Matthew Beard said: "We are hoping to attract a sponsor from the Rubery area as we feel this is where our roots lie.
"We currently have two playing strips -- our home kit is yellow and blue, and our away strip is red, white and blue -- both of which can be printed with a new logo or name of the prospective sponsor.
"We are looking to raise between £250-£300 to update the present kit with the new sponsors name including printing costs. Or, for £750 to £800, the sponsor can choose a kit of their design and colours."
If you can support the club for the forthcoming season, call Matthew on (01527) 505311 or 07790 981890.
