FEEDBACK to plans which will see doomed Redditch Schools redeveloped has been "positive" according to a county education chief.
Townspeople were able to see the plans at an exhibition at Redditch town hall on Friday.
From September, certain school sites in Redditch are set to become redundant as part of the Redditch Review.
Worcester County Council Head of Education Policy development, Colin Weeden, said: "We had a steady stream of people coming to view the plans throughout the day.
"We will now analyse their responses to the proposals and feed this information into the plans.
"I think there was a very positive feel from the people. They were pleased some of the playing field areas will still be used for public or community use for example."
Mr Weedon said Redditch Council had also expressed interest in turning some of the sites into community or leisure facilities.
