VAYNOR First School is to be presented with the Activemark Gold award by Sport England.
The Headless Cross school was awarded an Activemark last July and is believed to be one of only two schools in the country to follow it up with the gold award a year later.
Headteacher David Whitington said it was a tribute to the hard work and dedication of staff.
