TENNIS: Bewdley's U-15 boys won the Rover National Junior Clubs League Division Two, earning themselves a play-off against Division One's Barnt Green.
Unfortunately, the opposition proved too strong and Bewdley bowed out 4-0.
The team's strongest player, Paul Bennett, was injured for the play-off but his club-mates put up a spirited show.
The ladies A team, promoted this season into the Premier Division of the county league, have won their first three matches.
Tracey Powell, new head coach and current ladies county singles and double champion, has helped the team earn promotion.
They have beaten Worcester A and Manor Park A 4-2 and Boughton A 5-1.
The ladies B team have had two resounding victories, 6-0 over Ledbury A and 5-1 over Barnt Green B.
The B team is also playing in Division Two this year.
The men's A team also recorded their first victory in the Premier Division, 6-0 over Evesham A.
