A MOTHER has attacked the "irresponsible idiots" who left about a dozen hypodermic needles lying in Kidderminster Cemetery.
Samantha Walker spotted the needles at the Park Lane cemetery as she walked her six-year-old son through the site to Sutton Park First School.
She was dismayed to find them scattered about and had to rush over to her son after he spotted one of them and was about to pick it up during the journey to school at 8.20am on Tuesday.
The Castle Road resident, who took the needles home before informing the district council, said: "We hear of reports of regular drug activity in this part of Kidderminster, but it is even more alarming when the needles are found in the streets.
"I hope this isn't the start of something bad here and the irresponsible idiots who dumped the needles will think twice in future about where they dispose of their waste."
