SHATTERFORD LAKES

Kidderminster's Brent Aldred used a booby to take 10 trout to 3lb.

Another angler caught 14 trout to 13lb on buzzers and another catch of 12 to 3.5lb also fell to buzzers.

On the coarse lakes, luncheonmeat took catfish of 26lb and 31lb 4oz off the Erics Lake, while a 31lb catfish was caught with sausage on the Erics.

A 22lb 4oz leather carp was landed with a large piece of luncheonmeat, intended for catfish.

Meanwhile, a 27lb catfish and 13 carp were caught on the Stuarts with boilies.

An average 70lb-80lb bag of carp was taken on meat and corn off the Stella.

Every Tuesday during school holidays there will be junior open matches by "Steadfast 2000" with lots of prizes.

Steadfast 2XL are also sponsoring junior angling teach-ins in conjunction with England international Dave Harrell during the summer school holidays.

Harrell will offer free angling tuition to newcomers to the sport and Steadfast will donate tackle for use on both on each day - Mondays, July 23 and 30, August 6, 13, and 20.

The cost of the classes includes a reduced day ticket and lunchtime meal.

The top fish of the week was a 7.5lb rainbow, caught with a damsel nymph, as part of a catch of five, the smallest being 4.5lb.

One angler caught seven rainbows, mainly on daddies.
