THE public have been warned to keep away from the demolition of a Kiddermin-ster multi-storey car park on Sunday.
The Pitts Lane park is scheduled to be blown up between 8am and 10am as part of the £60 million town centre scheme.
Wyre Forest District Council has warned there will be no public viewing points.
Currently only Pitts Lane is closed but on Sunday a further six roads will be shut from 6am until 2pm.
They are Church Street, Lower Mill Street, Black Horse Lane, Bull Ring, Crown Lane and Trinity Lane.
Council cultural, leisure and commercial services chief Andrew Dickens said: "The contractor and the police are encouraging the public not to witness the demolition in order to keep the pedestrian and traffic movements to a minimum."
