A TRADITION dating back hundreds of years in Kidderminster raised £200 for good causes.
The Church Street Supper raised the cash for PHAB (Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied) and County Air Ambulance. Gemma Cook, Stephen Wyer and Kay Holden help serve up a treat.
The event, which marks Midsummer's Eve, was held in St Mary's Chantry and hosted by Ken Prosser, of Prosser Knowles solicitors, and attended by 45 people.
The tradition, which involves distributing loaves and plum cakes to the Church Street community, dates back to 1778.
Kidderminster resident John Bracknell left a legacy of £150 to promote peace and goodwill in the area.
