A PLACE in the last 16 - just three wins away from a final at Lord's - beckons both Dumb-leton and Exhall and Wixford on Sunday.
Both clubs have reached the last 32 of the Wadworth 6X National Village Championship in storming style but tougher assignments lie ahead.
Exhall have the easier task with a home tie against Tibberton but their task won't be helped by the absence of the holidaying Scott Carmichael and John Park.
However, they might have Australian Leon Gates available again after injury and strength in depth could be the key to success for the reigning Cotswold Hills League champions.
Dumbleton, meanwhile, pop over into Oxfordshire to face Oxford Downs in the village of Standlake, near Witney.
It's the first time Sunday's hosts have entered the competition since 1995 and they last got this far 13 years ago.
Dumbleton will be hoping to better last year's effort when they succumbed to Werrington at the same stage but they will have to ensure county player Luke List has an off day.
