PERSHORE'S second string hit back from a heavy league defeat to record a seven-wicket win in the Worcestershire Sunday League.
They were shot out for a meagre 84 at Droitwich with only Alan Davies, Dave Wickersham and Liam Ridings reaching double figures.
Pershore fought back to grab two early scalps but an unbroken third wicket stand left the visitors pointless and eight-wicket losers.
A young Pershore eleven entertained Feckenham the next day and restricted the visitors to a 45-over total of 158-7.
Excellent bowling and tight fielding, highlighted by a superb catch by Steve Emsley, left Pershore in high spirits at tea.
It was to stay that way despite losing two wickets with just 38 on the board.
Emsley (57) and veteran John Brookes (57no) shared a stand of 114 before Ben Bales stroked a glorious cover drive to ensure a comfortable victory.
