UNDER the new leadership of captain Andy Watson and vice-captain Levin Widmer, Pershore Rugby Club will embark on the new campaign with optimism.
Having gained promotion last year into Midlands 3 West (South) they will be looking to consolidate their position knowing it is a level that few present players have played at.
Clubs providing the opposition this winter include Birmingham Exiles, Nuneaton OEs, Old Leamingtonians, Leamington, Old Coventrians, Keresley, Sillhillians, Bedworth and old rivals Evesham.
The coaching staff of Charlie Hemmings, Mickey Knott and Chris Johnson welcome past, present and and new players to the club at Mill Lane, Wyre Piddle, telephone 01386 554105.
Official training starts next Tuesday at 7pm and every Tuesday and Thursday onwards.
The club runs run four senior teams and an under-18s colts side, coached by Russell Humphries.
