John Powell showed his collection of old tin plate clockwork toys and boxed games at the June meeting.
His interest began when he attended a toy fair when he worked as a photographer on the Berrows News. Nowadays he regularly attends toy fairs nationwide, on the look-out for unusual items.
Among the boxed games were miniature netball, bowls and the original snakes and ladders game.
Members were asked to support a coffee morning for cancer research, at Mrs Perrigo's on June 28.
The meetings in July and August are pre-booked outings.
The next village hall meeting will be on Monday, September 10, when Edward Burne-Jones will take members From Birmingham to Avalon, starting at 7.30pm.
