MEMBERS met for their fourth match of the Sunday Summer season at Forest Farm, Pinvin on Sunday and in scorching hot sunshine everyone enjoyed their day's fishing.
Once again Roy Thompson found the winning streak coming first with 12.2.0, including 8.2.0 of carp.
Congratulations also go to Roy for winning the club's bonus peg.
Second was Wayne Panting with 6.15.0 and Max Woehrle was third with 5.3.0.
The next Sunday match is as per the fixture list, contact Max if any query. Draw as usual at 8am, fishing from 9am to 2pm.
The Thursday Summer League evening match held on the Pleasure Gardens saw six members fish with Ray Woods in top spot with 6.8.0.
Hugh Blundstone was second with 5.0.0 and third was Rita Barnett with 1.2.0.
The next match is tonight, draw 5.30pm, fishing 6-9pm.
Evesham Jubilee AS
SPORT was patchy for the Stillwater Series match at Pittville Lake although there were some large carp in the nets at the finish.
Phil Seedhouse was the eventual winner, just edging out Simon Milner.
The series continues at Twy-ford Lake on Sunday, meet 7am at pool side.
All members are requested to attend for what promises to be an excellent match.

A QUALIFYING match was fished for the Wychavon Championships for members only on Town Waters with the winner catching chub on waggler with maggot bait.
The next match is the Pairs Cup on Sunday, August 5, details at local tackle shops.

M & M Worms/Evesham Youth
IN the third round of the Journal Series members of the junior club found the fish in a far from obliging mood.
Top weight went to intermediate Danny Blowers with 7.0.0 of perch and bits. He found the fish
against the boats on the far side using feeder from peg 32.
The top junior was Matthew Knight, who had a level 2lb s from peg 50 in his first club outing.
Second was Elliot Canning (1.7.0) followed by Jon Bagulaey (1.4.0.)
Shaun Bennett now has 67 league points to lead from from Will Beasley (63) with Baguley and Canning both on 48.
In the Intermediate standings, Luke Harrison has 72 points to lead from Blowers (71) and Dave Jones (70).
Tunnel Barn Farm
PLEASURE Anglers have reported bags of 100lbs on the Bottom Pool, made up of Crucians and Perch.
Last Wednesday two older anglers reported a 90lb plus and a 100lb plus net each. Best baits are corn, meat and worm.
Loads of small fish to 2 are showing all around the Top Pool. Worm and maggot are producing the best.
Both House Pools are producing excellent bags with all pegs capable of 50lb plus weights.
The best baits are worm, corn, meat, with maggot a good back up for smaller fish.
