The Shell House Gallery in Ledbury's Homend is hosting an exhibition of children's paintings, which have been inspired by poets in residence at local schools.
Poetry festival manager Charles Bennett is keen to stress that the festival is not just about "ten sparkling days" in the summer, but is an all-year-round commitment to encouraging literature in Ledbury and the surrounding areas.
Dr Bennett said of the exhibition: "I'm delighted by the quality of work and the responses of the children to poems written by our visiting poets."
The commitment to poetry in schools has continued throughout this week, with seven poets helping in the classroom. They are Roshan Doug, Ros Goddard, Wes Magee, Brian Moses, Simon Pitt, John Siddique and Philip Wells. Schools involved include John Masefield , Ashperton Primary, Bosbury Primary, Bromesberrow Primary, Colwall Primary, Cradley Primary, Dymock Primary, Eastnor Primary, Ledbury Primary, Much Marcle Primary and Pendock Primary.
