LANGLAND Lions Sports Club held their Presentation Evening on Thursday, June 28 at the Langland Arms.
Each of the players received a Worcester League Division Three medal and were handed the Division Three Cup by Jennette Davy MBE.
Other awards were, Player's Player Ed Palmer; Top Goal Scorer Stuart Harvey; Goal of the Season Dean Drinkwater; Manager's Player of the Year Ed Palmer; Clubman of the Year Cliff Gardiner; Most Consistent Player Jason Howes; Most Improved Player Jim Jowett; Langlands Sports Person of the Year Chris Postans and the trophy was donated and presented by Jennette Davy MBE.
Langland Sports FC would like to thank all the committee and officers of Langland Lions Sports Club for their efforts during a very successful first season in the Worcester & District Football League Division Three.
On Sunday (July 8) Langland Lions Sports Club are holding their fete on Dukes Meadow which starts at 12 noon which includes a car boot, tombola, bric-a-brac, football tournament, bouncy castle and more. Also in the evening the Club is holding a barbecue at the Langland Arms pub.
The Langland Lions Sports Club Annual General Meeting shall take place in the first week of August (date to be confirmed).
