STEVE Warburton leads the Club Formula Palmer Audi Championship at the half way stage of the motor racing championship.
The 26-year-old driver from Leigh Sinton claimed victory in the fifth and sixth rounds of the 12 race series at Mondello Park near Dublin in Ireland on Sunday.
In the opening race, Warburton led from start to finish, and slipped ahead in the second when early race leader and series leader Gino Ussi spun at mid-distance.
Warburton's 'half term report' now shows two wins and a second place - the latter achieved in the first round at Brands Hatch while Steve has finished all six races in the top four places.
The next round of the series, in which all cars are powered by 1.8 litre, turbocharged Audi engines, is at Brands Hatch on August 19.
