STAFF at a Worcester cinema were dressed for success at the launch of the blockbuster movie Moulin Rouge.
They donned 19th Century-style costumes of showgirls and their gentlemen friends to mark the opening night of the highly acclaimed musical starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor at Warner Villages.
The film, which is said to have sparked a major corset comeback among top designers, is tipped to turn the fortunes of Hollywood musicals courtesy of songs by pop legends Marc Bolan, David Bowie, Madonna and Elton John.
The story of doomed passion follows McGregor who plays a romantic poet who falls for a beautiful courtesan while writing a play for the infamous Moulin Rouge.
