TOP TV cop John Nettles was in St John's to open a special charity version of It's a Knockout.
The star - known as Jersey legend Jim Bergerac, and more recently as Tom Barnaby from ITV's Midsomer Murders - is a long-time supporter of NCH, a charity which helps vulnerable children and young people reach their potential.
All the money raised from the event held at Cinderella Gardens, Bransford Road in Worcester on Saturday will go to the NCH.
Organised by the company Reality, the event featured a similar collection of oddball games, crazy costumes and water as the classic TV programme.
As well as helping more than 89,000 vulnerable children and their families, the charity runs the Worcestershire Aftercare Project, which supports more than 230 people aged from 16 to 21.
The project offers a range of services including a Preparation for Living scheme to help people leaving the care of social services to find accommodation, employment and obtain training and claim benefits.
