EVESHAM golfer Jeremy Robinson is almost £12,000 richer after a fine finish to the European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre, Switzerland.
A final round of 68 gave Robinson a four-under-par total of 280 and a share of 16th place, his joint best finish of the season.
Robinson, who can only play selected European events after losing his Tour card last year, included five birdies in his final round.
Hereford's David Park earned almost £9,000 after finishing one shot behind Robinson in equal 23rd. Park's 71 could have been even better but for a double-bogey five on the 12th hole.
Luton's Ian Poulter remains on Ryder Cup stand-by as he flies to St Louis for the American Express World Championship, which gets under way on Thursday.
He was bitterly disappointed to finish one place away from an automatic spot in the European side.
But Poulter has watched as first Lee Westwood and then Thomas Bjorn have had injury scares eased by visits to specialists.
Argentinian Ricardo Gonzalez was the winner in Switzerland. He captured his first European Tour title by three strokes from Dane Soren Hansen.
