EARLY on Thursday morning last died, of a sudden rupture of a blood vessel in his lungs, which put an immediate end to his life, Humphrey Lyttelton Esq., Deputy Town Clerk of this city and one of the Coroners for the county. His most inflexible integrity and love of justice universally characterised him as an able, upright lawyer who was justly respected and esteemed by all.

THE annual Ombersley and District Agricultural Show was held at Hindlip Park by the kindness of the noble president, Lord Hindlip. There was a large crowd and numerous competitors for the classes for horses, nags, cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, flowers and vegetables.
1951: A £25 reward is offered for information leading to the recovery of three large antique metal urn-shaped vases stolen from Rous Lench Court near Evesham.

SIR William Wiggin complained to Powick Parish Council that the Old Hills Common had been badly neglected for some years. It was agreed that 30 dead or dying elm trees be felled and that large patches of thistle and gorse be cut down. An advertisement is also to be placed for a hay-warden for two or three days a week.
