BUILDERS completing the new county hospital in Worcester are being given health tips by staff.
A day-long health promotion day has been set up for the workers after a group of builders asked for advice.
Features at the Friday, October 19, event will include nutrition advice from a dietician, hints on giving up smoking, and blood pressure and body mass index tests.
Staff will also be on hand to give advice on sexual health, which will include lessons on self-examination to check for testicular cancer.
"We want to highlight to the men that health is very important and without it their standard of life would seriously be affected," said health worker Alicia Glover.
"They can approach health professionals for advice, and we will be more than happy to help out."
