WORCESTER City have landed an FA Cup fourth round qualifying away clash with struggling Unibond Division One outfit Belper Town and a chance of a £20,000 pay day.

Cash-strapped Hereford United have also been drawn away to play Nationwide Conference basement club Dover Athletic who they defeated 3-0 earlier in the season.

Both ties will be played on Saturday, October 27.

It's City's third successive away draw in the competition following victories at Barnstaple and St Blazey.

City's assistant boss, Mick Tuohy, refused to take the tie against the Derbyshire side for granted especially after last year's shock 5-0 exit at the hands of Hampton and Richmond at the same stage.

"We're cautious about making statements because we were pleased to draw Hampton last year and got stuffed 5-0," he said.

"But we are delighted to be in the fourth qualifying round.

"We would have liked a home draw and away games are always difficult and they won three games to reach this point so they can't be any fools.

"It will be taken very seriously as we did against St Blazey who were a lower league outfit and our preparations were very good."

Tuohy admitted events had been overshadowed by Mark Owen's broken leg sustained in the 3-2 victory over St Blazey on Saturday, which could keep him out for the rest of the season.

"Everything has been tempered by Mark Owen's tragic injury and all the players and staff at the club are gutted for him," said Tuohy.

"He's the leading scorer in non-league football at the moment and was really flourishing and we're very disappointed for him.

"I think everybody has been disappointed by Mark's injury and it has taken away a little of the euphoria but he will be willing us to do the job in hand.

"But as I've said we will be a lot more cautious than last year because the expectancy is so high with City.

"John Barton will be looking to address our striking problems and as quickly as possible with Mark Shepherd's suspension coming up.

"In between the FA Cup we need to be picking up some points in the league as well."

City have already banked £17,500 from their two wins in the competition so far.

Victory at Belper would earn them another £20,000 and a chance of a meeting with a Football League club in the first round proper.
