JIM Stote writes (You Say, October 3) of finding leeches in streams as a lad. I remember catching tadpoles, sticklebacks and water beetles, also watching the blue and green dragonflies swoop and hover over the water.
We kids also used to take a "skinny-dip" during the warm weather. Happy days.
