I AGREE with all the recent letters condemning the arrogance and ineptitude that has been demonstrated by our local health "management" with regard to future bed numbers in Worcestershire.

However, I disagree with those who are calling for heads to roll. The easy executive option of "retirement", "resignation", or "moving to a more challenging position" is taken far too easily and often in modern business - usually with substantial payoffs.

In recent times, a number of top managers have found to be negligent. These "managers" should have been made to stay in their posts and reverse the mess they had created.

No, do not let them off the hook. Do not let them take off, leaving the people of Worcestershire to clean up their mess.
