REGARDING Thomas Bromley's letter (You Say, September 19), the important contributions made by established alternative, non-animal medical research trusts are being overshadowed by those people who see the use of animals in medical research as a necessity.
Organisations such as The Dr Hadwen Trust and the Human Research Trust have made tremendous breakthroughs using alternative technologies.
The search for these alternatives is not an extremist view, rather, one shared by millions of animals lovers all around the world.
