YOUNGSTERS at a Worcester school were promoting peace across the world during a traditional Pakistani and Bangladeshi harvest festival for children's TV.
Children from Stanley Road Primary School joined TV characters Ripley and Scuff in watching a display of traditional Punjabi harvest festival dances by the Nachdar Sannar Bhangra dancers.
The pupils were filmed with the puppets, who arrived in their magic car, listening to a story, dancing and making models.
The event will be broadcast on the ITV show in January.
Headteacher Barbara Dunn said the school had been very lucky to host the dancers and watch them perform the traditional dance.
"We have very strong links with Pakistan and Bangladesh through our pupils and their families," she said.
"We make every effort to learn about the peoples of the world and different cultures."
