STOURPORT Swifts' boss Rod Brown is hoping his side can bounce back from their FA Cup disappointment when they visit Bilston Town in the Dr Martens Western Division tonight (7.45).

The Walshes Meadow side lost 2-0 at Unibond Premier Division outfit Hucknall Town and Brown admitted his players had been bruised by the loss.

"Obviously the disappointment of the weekend is still there and how we bounce back is important," he said.

"I'm always confident we can put up a good performance but we will be a little bit bruised. We didn't play badly but they were not that much better than us."

Quentin Townsend and Steve Ulfig are in contention for places after returning from suspension.

"I'll probably make one or two changes but it is not a criticism of the team, it is just that we have played a lot of matches lately," he said.

Bilston suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Redditch United at the weekend but Brown is expecting a hard match.

"They've picked up their form recently and we won't be taking anything for granted because our away form has not been too good lately," he added.

Sharpshooter Sam Bowen, who heads the Midland Alliance Golden Boot Awards, will hope to add to his 12-goal tally when Bromsgrove Rovers travel to Willenhall Town tonight (7.45).

Bowen scored in Rovers' 1-1 draw at Oadby on Saturday to knock the Leicestershire side off top spot.

But Rovers' boss Steve Daniels was unhappy with the display. "We were happy to pick up a point because we didn't play well and too many players were off their game," he said.

"I'm going to freshen things up because we've got a large squad and we need to keep players happy. But I'll be looking for a better performance."

A Rovers win could move them up to fifth spot.

Redditch United visit Rushall Olympic in the first round of the Birmingham Senior Cup (7.30).

The Reds scored their first win in six games at the weekend with a 2-1 victory at Bilston Town in the Dr Martens Western Division.

Bromyard Town entertain Malvern Town in the West Midlands League Premier Division tonight while in the same division Westfields have a home derby with Herefordshire rivals Ledbury Town, both kick offs 7.45.

County Sports have a home clash at Pershore with Kings Heath in the Midland Combin-ation Premier Division (7.45).
