WE read in the Evening News, on October 1, that parents now pay their children to tidy their bedrooms.
Unbelievable. Why are they no longer brought up to think of this as something that is done naturally?
Are they no longer brought up as part of a family, with family values? Just what has happened to the old standards? Where is the old Scout promise? What are children now brought up to believe in?
