A KIDDERMINSTER company has won an award for its innovative IT system.
Purac Ltd was chosen as runner-up in the IT category of the Contract Journal Construction Industry Awards 2001 for its own project management IT system, PuMA.
The company, on Birmingham Road, specialises in the design and build of process engineering systems for the treatment of water and waste water.
It was the only company in its field to be short-listed in the awards, which recognise innovation and excellence among companies operating in the construction industry.
An independent panel of industry experts short-listed the Purac system in the top three entries for the creative application of technology it demonstrated and the impact it has made on the company's business performance.
