EXPERTS in chemical decomatation from Droitwich Spa were called to a suspected anthrax discovery on Monday.
Droitwich's Fire Station, off the Saltway, is home to Hereford and Worcester Fire Brigade's special chemical incident unit.
At 9am, Spa firefighters sprang into action following the discovery of a white powdery substance at a postbox in Redditch.
Farmoor Lane, was closed for more than two hours while firefighters and police investigated the scene.
The powder turned out to be harmless talcum powder.
