SOCIABLE police wor-kers from Droitwich Spa are to donate £25,000 to worthy causes.
Cash is coming from the law enforcers' social club account.
Members of the club, at Droitwich police station, in Ombersley Street East, held popular charity nights and events until it closed in April 1999.
They are now planning a final reunion at the Copcut Elm, off Worcester Road, this Saturday, October 20.
The celebratory event , to mark years of successful fundraising, will feature a singer, comedian and buffet but not before revealing where their grants will go.
Kidderminster division's PC Keith Heritage, who worked on the beat in the Spa for ten years, said: "We have nearly £25,000 in the kitty, to divide between town charities, schools and groups, plus county organisations including the Air Ambulance Service and St Richard's Hospice, in Worcester."
