CAR parking ch-arges in Droit-wich Spa are to increase.
Wychavon District Council members rubberstamped plans to hike costs and extend the charging period at a full council meeting last Tuesday, October 9.
Parking a vehicle on one of Droitwich Spa's short-stay car park will soon cost residents 50 per cent more because ten pence has been added onto the current 20p charge.
Parking for two hours will cost 50p, instead of 40p, and parking for up to four hours will cost £2, instead of £1.50.
Wychavon has also introduced Bank Holiday charges and will charge motorists at the Lido on Saturdays.
