TOWN Christians are organising gifts for needy children across the globe.
The Team Parish of Droitwich Spa is sending new toys, sweets and school supplies to victims of war, natural disaster and neglect.
Goodies are being packed into shoeboxes this Saturday, October 20, at St Nicholas Church, in Ombersley Way, and volunteers will also be busy on Saturday October 27.
A church spokesman said: "This scheme is part of the international charity, Operation Christmas Child, which organises collections across the country and in other western countries.
"The charity then distributes worldwide, to help us share our Christmas joy and hope with those children who need it so much."
