Beoley Board School - The Diocesan Inspector has sent his report on his examination on religious instruction.
'This little school', he says, 'continues to do teachers and children great credit.
'The work throughout was very satisfactory such as to entitle the school to a good place in the A Class.'
Alvechurch Jumble Sale - A very successful jumble Sale was held on Tuesday afternoon in connection with the Baptist Chapel.
Mesdames Newbould, Corbett, Goode and Bastford disposed of the goods, which realised £6 13s.
The amount will be devoted to improvements on the chapel.
