AN all-star cast is set to perform hilarious and touching play You're Only Young Twice at Malvern Theatres next week.

The line-up is headed by Brian Murphy, of George and Mildred fame, and also features Carmen Silvera from 'Allo 'Allo, film legend Victor Spinetti and Judy Cornwell from Keeping Up Appearances.

The Ron Aldridge play is being staged at Festival Theatre from Monday until Saturday, October 27, and follows a group a pensioners trying to recapture their youth.

Every parent knows what that 'difficult stage' is like when the kids are staying out all hours, playing their music too loud and spending most of the day in bed.

Sue and Richard have always had problems - but with Sue's dad rather than their children.

Brian Murphy plays Brooksie, a recent widower who seeks approval from his late wife to forge himself a new life while nearly getting barred from the Over-60s Club in the process.

Performances start at 8pm with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost £10-18 from the box office on 01684 892277.
