WITHYMOOR Colts U6s 0 Bromsgrove Town U6s 4. A first friendly for the unofficial under-6s was goal-less at half time. Super-sub Alex Sykes scored twice early in the second half and this was followed by an own goal forced by good Jonathan Lammas pressure, before Daniel Arnold sealed the win with a fine finish after a long run. Town MoM was George Galla for a super debut.

Withymoor Colts U7s 0 Bromsgrove Town U7s 20. This friendly ended in a goal spree for Town with Matthew Arnold scoring four and James Endall three in the first ten minutes. Richard McGeown and Max Galla each added two more. And with Billy Skinner scoring too, Town went in at half-time 12-0 up. In the second half Ryan McCourt scored five and MoM Sam Albrow added three great goals to complete the win.

Withymoor Colts East U7s 1 Bromsgrove Town U7s 2. Colts took the lead towards the end of the first half when a Ben Lucas goal kick was brilliantly intercepted by Richard Hall. Town struck back straight from the kick off with a well-worked James Endall goal. But despite the equaliser, Tom Lucas in defence was always busy. In the second half Town looked the stronger and it was no surprise when Richard McGeown sealed the match with a fine goal. MoM was William Baker for strong running from defence.

Bromsgrove Town U7s 10 Castlehurst Colts U7s 0. Town stay top of the league for the third week. Matthew Arnold scored first and goals followed from Richard McGeown and William Baker to put Town 3-0 up at half-time. Ryan McCourt scored early in the second half after a super through ball from James Endall, and this was followed by two goals from McGeown to complete his hat-trick. MoM Matthew Arnold also added two more to complete his hat-trick. An own goal plus a deserved goal for James Endall completed the scoring.

Hanbury U10s 1 Olton Ravens U10s 4. Hanbury were not outplayed in the first half of this cup game against first division opponents. Hanbury played the better quality football with plenty of passing and movement and went in at half time 1-1. In the second half Ravens took their chances. Lewis Smith scored a fine goal, George Hollis was an excellent MoM and Tom Williamson a deserved manager's choice.

Callowbrook Swifts U9s 2 Holywell Harriers U9s 0. Swifts progressed to the last 16 of the Open Cup with a solid display. Swifts keeper Joseph Esposito produced a top class save in the first half. Matthew Wood slotted home from close range to put Swifts one up at half time. Good play from Leon Curtis gifted Wood his second from close range to complete his brace. Swifts MoM was Jay Hurley.

Droitwich Spa Eagles U15s 7 Suffolk Rangers U15s1. A solid team performance saw Eagles get their first win of the season. A hat trick from hero Glyn Coulter got Eagles off to a flying start, and four impressive goals from MoM Adam Caines secured a well-needed win.

Bromsgrove Corinthians U12s 2 Tally-Ho U12s 1. Tally-Ho were one-up by the break. The second half saw Andy Court equalise followed by Jon Frost's winning goal. A special mention for Bromsgrove's keeper who kept the Corries in the game more than once. MoM was Matt Frost.

Hanbury U11s 2 Romulus Youth U11s 2. A great team performance where Hanbury were the better side. The first goal was scored by Josh Mitchel but Romulus were quick to equalise. In the second half Ben Stanford made it 2-1, but again the opposition fought back. MoM was Alex Williams for consistent hard work throughout.

St John's Tigers U17s 1 Meadow Park U17s 1. Park dominated the first half only to see the woodwork deny them on two occasions. Steve Birchley followed up a Jamie Regan shot that came back off the post to open the scoring. Tigers equalised on the hour. Shaun Rafferty was unfortunate not to secure the points in the second half but his powerful drive came back off the crossbar. MoM was Tom Clarkson.

St John's Tigers U13s 1 Bromsgrove Athletic U13s 3. This hard-fought game was evenly balanced until Athletic's James Sheehy fastened on to a through ball from a move started by Oliver Rudd and hammered the ball into the roof of the net mid-way through the first half. Tigers never gave up and were rewarded with a goal from a superb header at the back post. Athletic, to their credit, kept trying and two great goals from Oliver Lambert and another from Sheehy late in the game sealed Tigers' fate. Joshua Titley, who was solid at the back, was MoM.

Chelmsley Town U13s 4 Hanbury U13s 1. An improved performance from Hanbury wasn't evident in the final score. Hanbury settled quickly and opened the scoring with a fine strike from Tom Stockwell. The whole team showed tremendous spirit in frustrating and threatening a determined home side, only falling behind well into the second half and battling on until the final whistle. Alex Richardson made an excellent return to goalkeeping duties but was pipped for MoM by an inspired Gareth Padmore at left centre back.

Bromsgrove Town Boys U9s 6 Catshill U9s 1. Bromsgrove went three points clear at the top of the division. In the 15th minute Connor Wilson saw his corner beat everyone and bend straight in to give Town the lead. A few minutes later Daniel Jones did well to hold the ball up before turning and striking a superb shot which beat the keeper but not the post. However, MoM Lee Groves calmly slotted the rebound home. Groves then completed a superb passing move involving Chris Rudge and Ross McGuinness. James Brighton made a surging run down the right on 15 minutes and was amazed to see the keeper save his shot, but the parry only went to Rudge who didn't miss. Town keeper Matthew Brunt bravely dived at the feet of an oncoming striker, and although he blocked that shot the defence were nowhere as the visitors pulled one back. Town woke up and within two minutes Daniel Jones scored a well deserved goal to complete the simplest of moves. With less than five minutes remaining, left footed McGuinness slammed home number six.

Feckenham U8s 5 Bromsgrove Town U8s 0. Despite the scoreline the performance was excellent. Town could have been 3-2 up at half time, instead of 2-0 down. It was a competitive game with most of the play in midfield where MoM Jamie Nolan shone for Town. However, Feckenham's place one division higher was evident due to their superb, clinical finishing as well as speed of thought. There were good battling performances from Mitchell Booth, Adam Cherry and Philip Cunningham for Town.

Hampton Rangers U7s 0 Lickey End U7s 12. A comprehensive victory for Lickey End with MoM Alex O'Brien netting a hat-trick. Ben Mullins (two), Joe Kirby (two), Oliver Pugh, Daniel Dawson, Jamie Lucas, Mitchel Goodwin and Max Loveridge completed the scoring for the visitors but for some wayward finishing the tally could have been more.

Cookley Boys U13 1 Meadow Park U13s 12. Park dominated from start to finish, scoring six goals in each half against a poor Cookley side. Scorers for Park were MoM David Powell (four), Tom Dennison (three), Lucas Tilsley (two), Jon Hutchins (two) and Stuart Watts.

Merry Hill Maidens U13s 5 Droitwich Spa Girls U13s 0. Spa played well against a physical Maidens team. Jenna Smith in goal pulled off a string of fine saves. Natalie Halsall, Jo Reynolds and Claire Palmer worked hard throughout in midfield.

Hanbury U9s 4 Sutton Town U9s 4. Hanbury played good attacking football. This was a great team effort and manager Peter Day was proud of the way they played. Goals from Nathan Day (two), MoM Ashley Poole and Glen Turner.

Hanbury U14s 4 Redbury Rovers U14s 1. Hanbury continued their good start to the season with a convincing display. First half goals from Jordan Taylor and Aaron Sanders gave Hanbury the lead at half time. Within a minute of the restart Aaron Sanders made it three. With Hanbury in full control, substitute Scott McCartney completed the scoring. Redbury scored a consolation just before the final whistle. Hanbury MoM was Simon Thompson for an outstanding display in the middle of the park.

Droitwich Darts U10s 0 Burlish Olympic Youth U10s 0. Darts played in their new kit sponsored by Trophies Direct for the first time. Good running from James Thomas and Joshua Wyatt kept the ball in the Olympic half for the first ten minutes. After the break Jack Stephens and Joe Hoggs' shots just missed or were saved. The Olympic goalie also saved a penalty. At the other end Darts keeper and MoM Joe Ridings saved the game once again.

Callowbrook Swifts U11s 6 Hunt End Rangers 0. Swifts produced their best display of the season to progress to the next round of the Open Cup. Two goals from Luke Bridson on his debut saw Swifts 2-0 up at the break. Further goals from Aaron Phillips (two), Jamie Phelps and Danny Jordan saw Swifts comfortably home. An award was made to the whole team for an outstanding display.

Droitwich Spa Cobras U10s 0 Lyppard Rangers Boys U10s 1. A close game saw few first half chances. The closest of which was Alex Clarkes shot which hit the left post for Droitwich. The second half brought sustained pressure from Lyppard through the midfield that rewarded them with an avoidable goal by D Pepiatt. Secure handling and fine blocking from Cobra's keeper made up for the earlier misjudgment and kept the scoreline close. Late pressure from Droitwich was unable to bring a reply. MoM was Emma Green.

Bromsgrove Town U11s 2 Catshill Warriors U11s 5. After a period of stalemate Catshill finally broke the deadlock through Michael Ralph's solo effort in this Open Cup tie. However, Bromsgrove replied to make the half time score 1-1. In the second half, Catshill's fine football paid dividends. Daniel Evans scored his first two goals of the season, Nat Cherrington scored with a right foot thunderbolt and Nick Ingram kept up his record of scoring in every game. Although Bromsgrove pulled one back, Ben Judd sealed the victory just before time. Stuart Cottrell was magnificent throughout, and unlucky not to get MoM, which went to Nat Cherrington.

Hunt End Rangers U11s 0 Callowbrook Swifts U11s 6. Swifts cruised into the next round of the cup.

Moor Green Colts U10s 6 Callowbrook Swifts U10s B 1. Battling against a strong home side in this Open Cup tie, Swifts emerged with credit. Work rate was high throughout and there was a welcome return to action for MoM Sam Talbot who thwarted Colts more than once. The visitors kept working hard and their reward was a well taken goal from substitute Anthony Knight.

Alcester Athletic U10s 2 Callowbrook Swifts U10s 5. Goals from Matthew Reeves and four from MoM Daniel Phillips, who returned to form to help his side overcome a strong Alcester team and take them into the next round of the Open Cup. Lewis Gwilliams in goal was outstanding, saving Swifts time and again.

Callowbrook Swifts U13s 1 Sutton Town U13s 0. After Joshua Taylor-Gates had an excellent goal ruled out in the first half, justice prevailed as he scored Swifts' winner late in the game. Rob Stevenson earned MoM for his solid performance.

Callowbrook Swifts U14s 6 Richmond Rovers U14s 3. This was tighter than the scoreline suggests but Swifts added two late goals to break clear in the last six minutes. Joe McCall was a hat-trick hero, his best a clever flick with the outside of his foot from a Sean McCall cross. Amolak Sohal also scored.

Maypole Juniors U7s 3 Callowbrook Swifts U7s 0. An entertaining game with plenty of goal mouth action as both teams went close. Looking like a draw with 12 minutes remaining, Maypole took the lead despite courageous goalkeeping by MoM Callum McCall. Conor Richmond displayed solid defending and Matthew White never stopped running, earning manager Paul Jones' praise.

Alberto United U17s 1 Cofton Falcons U17s 5. Cofton continued their winning run, taking nine points from nine. Falcons took an early lead through Adam Merricks, fresh from a two week rest due to injury. Then Alberto struck back with a goal straight from a corner. After 20 minutes of end-to-end football, Falcons scored two quick goals. A James Smalley shot from 25 yards sent the keeper the wrong way with a little help from Karl Parkinson's deflection. Then a superb volley from 30 yards was too much for the Alberto keeper as Wayne Boyce rattled the back of the net. In the second half, Mark Cook scored twice to give Falcons all three points. One of Cook's goals was a header after a cross. For the second he controlled a free kick on his chest and hit it on the turn into the bottom corner.
